Company History

Trickie Snowboards was founded in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. When Ric Pearson - A young, enterprising high school student was faced with a school project.

This project was appropriately called "Personal Best". And its basic outlines were that you could design, make or construct anything you like! Ric, being the enterprising young kid that he was, naturally aimed ahead of the rest, and due to his passion of snowboarding decided to make a snowboard.

After making the decision on what he was going to do for this project, he spent a hard six months of designing graphics, researching techniques and construction phases, and generally getting to know how it was done. Once the time of the project had come, he was fully equipped and ready to go. And by the end, had the first trickie snowboard under hes arm.

Originally, Trickie snowboards was just a school project, but as time went by Ric got more and more intrigued by snowboards, and by May 2007 Had drawn about 10 full board graphics, and had planned out a full scale production of snowboards under the Trickie name.

Today, Trickie Snowboards can offer a range of snowboards in nearly all available sizes. And can also offer for the first time in Australia, a fully customised board, from design to construction.

Trickie Snowboards aims at producing the highest quality snowboards in Australia and will continue to push the limits in board construction.
